Knoxville entrepreneurial interests well-represented on Mayor-elect Kincannon’s Transition Team
Two familiar faces to the Knoxville entrepreneurial community are among seven people named to Knoxville Mayor-elect Indya Kincannon’s Transition Team. They are the co-hosts of the annual “Startup Day” – Cortney Piper, Founder of Piper Communications, and Brandon Bruce, Co-Founder of Cirrus Insight and the Knoxville Technology Council and the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center. The Transition Team Manager is Carter Hall. Ironically, he also has ties to the entrepreneurial community. Hall is the son of John Bruck’s wife, Karen. Bruck is the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
