KnoxDevs meet-up focused on Knoxville’s Open Data Project

The next quarterly meeting of the KnoxDevs group is set for this Thursday and features a discussion of Knoxville’s Open Data Project. Presenters are Jesse Mayshark, Senior Director of Communications and Government Relations for the City of Knoxville, and Tim Kuhn, GIS Manager for the Metropolitan Planning Commission.

Topics to be covered include an overview of the project, data that are currently available and will be available later, and ways that entrepreneurs have monetized data in other open cities.
