Kingsport approves $520,000 investment to create Product Creation Center
The Kingsport Board of Mayor and Aldermen has approved the establishment of a Product Creation Center. According to this article from the Kingsport Times-News, “Prototypes will be put together at the center, which will be connected to the city’s existing entrepreneur resources such as AccelNow, the Holston Business Development Center, the Kingsport Office of Small Business and Entrepreneurship and SyncSpace. The center is also viewed as a ‘next step’ workspace for students using the Regional Center for Advanced Manufacturing, the Dobyns-Bennett Excel program and Eastman’s StreamWorks initiative.”
