Kennesaw State has new student, young alumni start-up fund

Atlanta Inno reports that Kennesaw State University (KSU) has a new fund to support student technology entrepreneurs.

The Mookerji Innovation Fund was established with a $120,000 donation from Sid and Sophie Mookeriji and will focus on investing and providing guidance for 12 earlys tage start-ups in the KSU community. To be eligible, founders must be KSU students or alumni who have graduated within five years. The investment process is similar to that of a typical venture capital fund, but there won’t be an ownership stake from the university or donors.
