KEC launches three-session series on blogging
The Knoxville Entrepreneur Center (KEC) announced on Friday a three-part series for beginning bloggers and influencers in the Knoxville area. Titled “From Follower To Friend,” the series will cover branding, social media, and analytics.
The sessions are free, but pre-registration is requested. The series kicks-off today with a 90-minute session starting at 6 p.m. at the KEC. It will feature Azlinn Alder discussing how and why she started blogging and everything she learned along the way. Click here to register.
The remaining two sessions, all running from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at KEC, are as follows:
- April 25 – YouTube vlogger and makeup guru Avery Conner and Knoxville photographer and home and family blogger Ali Daugherty will lead the discussion. Topics will include the differences between using social media as your blog or blog accessory and using it personally; pairing photography and content; using social media to attract, engage, and deliver; and the best ways to get a great shot for your posts without breaking the bank. Click here to register.
- May 7 – The final session will feature Lacey Douthat who will discuss analytics and the business tools bloggers can use to be successful. Registration for that session is available here.
