Kauffman Foundation releases results of 2017 “Index of Start-up Activity”
The “2017 Kauffman Index of Start-up Activity” revealed some interesting stat istics such as:
- Among the largest states, the five that had the highest start-up activity are California, Texas, Florida, Arizona and Colorado.
- Among the 25 smaller states, the top five are Oklahoma, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Nevada.
- Finally, the five metropolitan areas with the highest start-up activity are Miami, Austin, Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas.
