Kailyn Lamb joins PYA team, will help expand teknovation.biz

If you looked closely at Friday’s feature article in teknovation.biz, you should have noticed a new byline. The post was written by Kailyn Lamb, a new member of the PYA family. She joined the firm at the first of the year as a Marketing Content Writer and Editor, based in our Marketing Department but partially assigned to help expand our coverage in teknovation.biz.

Lamb moved to Knoxville from Denver, CO, where she was an Editor for two monthly newspapers – Life on Capitol Hill and the Washington Park Profile. In those roles, she covered various neighborhoods and local issues. Lamb is experienced in writing community news and has written about start-ups, nonprofits, lawsuits, and sales tax data. Before working as an Editor, she was a Reporter at BusinessDen, an online news site covering start-ups, commercial real estate and business throughout the Denver metro area. Lamb also worked as a Reporter at the Summit Daily News in Frisco, CO, where she wrote about business and real estate. Besides her writing experience, she has worked in photography and video. Lamb has a Bachelor of Science degree in Multimedia Journalism from the Metropolitan State University of Denver and a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University.

Our readers can expect to see her covering virtual events in the next few months and hopefully at in-person events later in 2021. Lamb will also be contributing spotlight feature articles on a regular basis to teknovation.biz.

“I am looking forward to learning more about Knoxville and the surrounding communities and what makes the businesses here thrive,” she says.
