It’s time to vote for the semi-finalists in this year’s “What’s the Big Idea? Pitch Competition”

Voting ends on Valentine's Day, but you can show your love once a day until then.

Twenty-three start-ups are vying for a chance to be one of six companies selected to pitch in this year’s “What the Big Idea? Pitch Competition” scheduled for March 2 at Scruffy City Hall on Market Square in downtown Knoxville.

The event is organized by the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center that announced the 23 potential competitors late Monday and has opened public voting through Valentine’s Day, appropriately enough. So, give them some love by watching the videos and voting for your favorite.

The 23 start-ups and their founders are:

  1. AdvoKids, founded by Mindy Wilson;
  2. AllTales, founded by Peyton Wifley;
  3. Celebrate Everything App, founded by Kate Wiggeringloh;
  4. Creative Arena: Create-O Bots, founded by Adam Maitland;
  5. Dants Pants, founded by Angelee Day;
  6. DataRook, founded by Gustavo Alvarez;
  7. Feedbag Agrihub, founded by Future Ahiate;
  8. Fibarcode, founded by Brian Iezzi;
  9. GHOSTUD, founded by Trevor Jones;
  10. Good 2 Go Technology, founded by Josh Petrillo;
  11. Hidden Gemz, founded by Tatum Scott;
  12. Lightning Bug, co-founded by Josh Wright and Jess Wright;
  13. Little Buddy Amp Stand, founded by Adam Widmer;
  14. Modern Day SAHM, founded by Kimberly O’Neil;
  15. Motivi, founded by Joel Brogan;
  16. Package Manager, founded by Burak Er;
