It’s a sweet 16th birthday for Qardian Labs Founder Sofia Tomov

The team at the Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) celebrated a birthday milestone for one of its student entrepreneurs this week.

Sofia Tomov, Founder of  Qardian Labs and the third place winner in the most recent  “Student Edition Live Pitch” competition held as part of Launch Tennessee’s “36|86 Entrepreneurship Festival,” just celebrated her 16th birthday. Yes, the UTK junior who has not yet graduated from high school has a data analytics company focused on better healthcare using algorithm she developed.
