Innov865 Week kicks off Friday with triple the events as 2021
It begins today (Friday). We’re referring to “Innov865 Week” that kicks-off with “The Maker City Summit” over the next three days.
Over the eight-day period that ends September 23, there are three times as many events as last year that Knoxville area residents can attend – 23 in total. They include returning favorites like:
- “Startup Day” on September 20 featuring six companies representing the diverse nature of the ecosystem who will be competing for up to $10,000 in cash;
- “Raising & Rising” on September 21; and
- The “Innovation Crossroads Showcase” on September 22 spotlighting members of Cohort 5 and 6 of the program operated by Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
There are also new additions to the week’s menu including:
- The “Valuation Lunch & Learn” on September 19 sponsored by PYA, the power behind teknovation.biz;
- An unveiling on September 21 of CGI Convenu™, the newest offering from one of the largest independent information technology and business consulting services firms in the world that is establishing a large presence in Knoxville; and
- The second edition of the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center’s “Made for Knoxville LIVE” on the evening of September 22,
