INCITE Co-Investment Fund closes largest deal to date

LaunchTN announced the INCITE Co-Investment Fund closed its largest investment thus far on January 8 with a combined total of $6 million being invested in Informatics Corporation of America (ICA).  ICA is an informatics platform designed to solve data and communications challenges for healthcare entities. The investment was led by MedCare Investment Fund IV, Ltd.

The INCITE Fund has also closed three other deals since December 1, 2012. The four companies received a total of more than $8 million in private and public funding. The three companies other than ICA are:

  • American Hometown Media of Franklin;
  • ApaxGroup/CORTAC of Hendersonville; and
  • Streamweaver of Nashville.

To date, the INCITE Fund has partnered with the private sector to invest more than $32 million to help local companies grow, creating jobs and economic growth. More information on the INCITE Fund can be found at http://launchtn.org/connect/investors/co-investment-fund/.
