Iconic Moments wins “World Summit Award” from the United Nations

Iconic MomentsTM, the first non-fungible token marketplace for the 450,000 museums and archives globally, has won a “World Summit Award” from the United Nations, the only company in the U.S. to receive the honor.

Located in Baton Rouge, LA with offices in Austin and Chattanooga, Iconic MomentsTM is one of just 40 organizations worldwide to be recognized for using technology to help achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. It is the operating name of Pass It Down Inc. that was founded by Chris Cummings.

The company works with top museums and cultural institutions globally – from history to fine art, music and even sports. “We are committed to helping create the future of museums,” Cummings said.

The “World Summit Awards” were founded in 2003 in the framework of the U.N. World Summit on Information Society. The United Nations received 800 nominations from more than 129 countries for this year’s competition. An international jury chose winners based on their ability to use content-driven digital solutions to solve societal challenges.
