IACMI names new members to its Consortium Council

Four new members join the group.

The Knoxville-based Institute for Advanced Composites Manufacturing Innovation, better known as IACMI – The Composites Institute, has announced the newly elected representatives who will serve two-year terms (2025-2026) on the IACMI Consortium Council.

Additionally, the organization welcomes Eric Barnes as the newest Council member, representing Northrop Grumman, the latest IACMI Premium Member. The Council plays a vital role in guiding the IACMI Consortium, overseeing strategic planning, annual budgets, technical initiatives, projects, and management practices.

In addition to Barnes, the new Consortium Council members are:

  1. Small/Medium Enterprise (SME) RepresentativeKevin Line, Vice President of Manufacturing, Rise Building Products.
  2. Large Entity RepresentativeMike Siwajek, Vice President of Research & Development,
    Teijin Automotive Technologies.
  3. State/National Lab/Academia RepresentativeDerek Berry, Senior Wind Technology Engineer, National Renewable Energy Laboratory.

Line succeeds Haley Marie Keith, MITO Material Solutions Chief Executive Officer, while Berry succeeds Craig Blue, Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Chief Manufacturing Officer, and Siwajek succeeds John Pruett, Director of Sales & Business Development at Hexcel Corporation.
