
IACMI announces partnership to decrease carbon fiber structural components in cars
Here’s more news from the Institute for Advanced Composites Manufacturing Innovation (IACMI). The locally-based entity announced a partnership yesterday aimed at decreasing the cost of carbon fiber automotive structural parts by 15 percent for target components. According to the announcement, the newest IACMI project will address the challenge of decreasing cost and cycle times that limit the use of carbon fiber in automotive structural parts.
