Google, WeWork bringing their support to Black-owned start-ups

Atlanta Inno reports that two major companies in the tech start-up space have announced collaborations with and support for Black-owned new ventures in Atlanta. One company from the Perachtree State has been invited to join the new “Google for Startups Accelerator: Black Founders” program, while WeWork announced it had selected 200 Black-owned businesses, including 26 in Atlanta, to support with grants as part of its Black-owned business grant program.

TQIntelligence, which uses voice recognition technology and artificial intelligence to measure toxic stress and transform trauma care, is the company selected to join the new Google accelerator.

And, in the State of North Carolina, WRAL TechWire reports that two Black-owned businesses in the Research Triangle and another five in Charlotte have also received $10,000 grants from WeWork.
