“Girls of Code” workshop series planned across Tennessee
The latest initiative from The Biz Foundry is something called the “100 Girls of Code.” It is an effort to increase the technology skills of girls ages 12 to 18. Only 12 percent of computer science and engineering positions that pay $80,000 to $100,000 annually are held by women. The Biz Foundry will hold a series of summer workshops across Tennessee to train teenage women. For more information, click here.
