Georgia is also on an EV-driven roll

Tennessee clearly has designs on being the number one state, not just in the Southeast but in the country for electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing and the resulting supply chain.

That said, the Volunteer State needs to keep an eye on our neighbors to the South as reflected in this recent article from GaBiz Magazine. The story declares that the Peach State “remains on an electric vehicle-driven roll,” noting more than $12.6 billion in investment from EV-related projects since 2020. Rivian announced a $5 billion EV facility in December, and Hyundai followed with a $5.5 billion project in May.

The article also points out that Georgia is number one in the Southeast in new registrations for electric vehicles.
