Four Tennessee employers ranked in national survey of best IT workplaces
Tennessee did well in a recently issued report on best large companies for jobs in the information technology sector.
Titled “Best Places to Work in IT,” the report spotlighted the top 100 employers across three categories: large, medium and small. Tennessee-based employers captured four of the 56 positions in the first category, but failed to place in the other two.
Asurion in Nashville was the Volunteer State’s highest ranked employer at #9 followed by Brentwood-based Tractor Supply Company (#14), International Paper in Memphis (#31), and FedEx Corporation, also in Memphis and ranked #35.
The report was a product of Insider Pro and Computerworld, two IDG Corporation publications.
