Specifically, the new initiative is built around FoundersForge’s Avante Bootcamp that we spotlighted in this teknovation.biz article from March 23. Several six-week programs of Avante will be hosted by FoundersForge in partnership with local chambers of commerce and regional banks to directly support affected businesses in Carter, Cocke, Greene, Johnson, Unicoi, and Washington counties.

“Our Avante Bootcamp provides businesses with the tools they need to launch and grow successfully,” said David Nelson, Executive Director of FoundersForge, according to the article. “With the support of United Way and our local partners, we can ensure that the businesses affected by Hurricane Helene have a pathway to recover, rebuild, and continue serving their communities.”

The announcement lso stated the Avante Small Business Relaunch Program will begin with a series of boot camps designed to provide “hands-on” business planning, marketing, financial management, and access to local support networks.
