You are probably familiar with the term Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR), but have you heard about the Founder-in-Residence (FiR). In this article, a Senior Contributor to Forbes interviews one of the latter after explaining the difference between the two.
Under the headline of “The Founder-in-Residence Job Is the New ‘It’ in Silicon Valley,” Frederick Daso writes that “the major difference between the two is that FiR roles more frequently appear within early stage start-ups, as opposed to EiRs in venture capital firms, universities, and start-up accelerators.”
