Folx Table and Spikey win the 3686 Pitch Competition

One brings people together, the other is a strip to protect victims of date rape.

Folx Table captured the $10,000 cash prize, and Spikey won the audience favorite award and in-kind services valued at up to $5,000 from The Operations Guide during the 3686 Pitch Competition held Tuesday at Cannery Hall in downtown Nashville.

The competition brought to a close the first day of the annual event with a series of pop-ups in various locations, occupying Wednesday’s programming.

Folx Table, co-founded by Emma McCallie and Dallas Condra, is a platform that helps communities spark real connections through small-group, in-person conversations at local restaurants. In their pitch, the Co-Founders noted that they pivoted two months ago and are initially focused on the Nashville market.

Spiky, founded by Abigail Goddard, a high school senior, has developed a strip that allows anyone to determine in 15 seconds if their drink has been spiked with a date rape drug.
