Five companies relocating to Louisville, KY after investments from Render Capital

Louisville, KY has eight more start-ups that have a reason to grow in the city, and the five that are not already located there will move their headquarters to the home of the Kentucky Derby.

It’s all thanks to Render Capital. the Louisville-based venture fund that recently announced the winners of its third-annual “Render Competition.” Each of the eight, chosen from more than 230 applicants, will receive a $100,000.

“We were so impressed with the quality of applications we received this year,” said Marigrace Ragsdale, Venture Platform Manager at Render Capital. “We also wouldn’t be able to put on this program without our generous sponsors and our expert judges. We are confident that this cohort will help our local startup ecosystem continue to flourish and we look forward to seeing how each company puts these funds to use.”
