
First session of Digital Storytelling series set for Wednesday
The inaugural session in a three-part series titled “The Art, Science and Impact of Digital Storytelling is set for 12:30 to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Organized by the Media Technologies Program at Pellissippi State Community College, The Hive and Bagwell Entertainment LLC, the theme of this week’s free session is “Crafting Digital Messages that Motivate Audiences to Action.” Keynote speaker is Steve Crescenzo, owner of Crescenzo Communications. Panelists include Deirdre Breakenridge, Chief Executive Officer of Pure Performance Communications; Scott Monty, former Chief of Global Digital Communications for Ford Motor Company; and Damon Rawls, Founder of Damon Rawls Consulting Group.

The other two sessions are planned as follows:
- The next program on December 1 is titled “Building Greater Knoxville’s National Reputation as a Creative Community” and will focus on the region’s wealth of creative intellectual assets, as a major hub of production vision, talent, and output.
- The final session on January 22 is titled “The Media Technologies Workforce Pipeline & 2021 Employer Hiring Priorities” and will focus on the hiring landscape, job opportunities and how employment experiences have shifted or transformed during COVID-19 in the creative and production communities, and what’s expected ahead in 2021.
