First 2022 “Basecamp” scheduled today in Chattanooga

Two Chattanooga nonprofits – The Enterprise Center and CO.LAB – have joined forces to resume the popular “Basecamp” initiative beginning at 9 a.m. today at Waterhouse Pavilion (also known as Miller Plaza).

Today’s session is the first in the series which will occur each month leading up to “Startup Week CHA” in October. The monthly sessions will feature two different speakers along with a spotlight on a nonprofit, starting with River City Co. which helped provide the event space.

“Basecamp is about providing opportunities for our wide range of residents to connect, with a goal of nurturing collaborations and creativity that benefit us all,” said Kevin Love, Director of
Innovation District programming for The Enterprise Center.

The public is invited to the event that will also provide co-working spaces and networking activities as well as plenty of coffee and lunch. This month’s event will also feature a happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. at Moxy in partnership with Young Professionals of Chattanooga. That event will spotlight interns across the city and
provide ways for them to network within similar industries.
