Finale of “What’s the Big Idea” pitch competition is this Sunday

Just a reminder that the finale for the annual “What’s the Big Idea?” pitch competition is this Sunday. Doors to Scruffy City Hall on Market Square in Downtown Knoxville open at 5:30 p.m., and the program is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Click here to register.

Six companies described in this recent teknovation.biz article will be competing for the $10,000 grand prize. The event, organized by the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center (KEC), is sponsored by the Development Corporation of Knox CountyHarper Auto Square, and Egerton McAfee Attorneys at Law.

If you are unable to attend in person, KEC will be streaming directly to www.bigideaknox.com and also to the organization’s Facebook page (facebook.com/knoxstartshere/), according to Chris McAdoo, KEC Director of Strategy and Engagement.
