
Final session of Knoxville angel investing awareness series set for March 22
The third and final session in the “Opportunities on the Horizon” series about angel investing will focus on women investors.
Hosted by the Knoxville Chamber, Knoxville Entrepreneur Center(KEC), and Innov865 Alliance, the “Women in Angel Investing” will be held three weeks from today – 4:30 to 6 p.m. March 22. There are both in-person and virtual options to participate. Click here to register.
The session will be moderated by Catherine Porth, KEC’s Director of Insights and Development, who is also Founder of Let Her Speak. Like the two previous sessions in the series, there will be two panels.
- One panel will feature two leaders in the angel community – Karen Thomas, Chair of the Board of Directors of Women Can Be Angels located in Nashville, and Kristina Montague, Managing Partner at Chattanooga’s The JumpFund.
- The second panel features Tricia Martinez, Managing Director of the new “Techstars Industries of the Future Accelerator” in Knoxville, and Erica Grant, Founder of Quantum Lock Technologies LLC, a participant in Cohort 4 of the “Innovation Crossroads” program operated by Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
