“Fall Vol Court” ends with tonight’s pitch competition
It’s show time for 14 teams that will be pitching their business ideas at tonight’s finale for the “Fall Vol Court” program coordinated by the Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Tennessee (UT).
The festivities begin at 5:15 p.m. in Room 104 of the Haslam Business Building.
With what is probably a record number of presenters, each team will be limited to a 90-second elevator pitch followed by brief Q&A with the judges.
“Vol Court” sponsors include Cirrus Insight; UT Federal Credit Union; UT Reasearch Foundation (UTRF); Pershing Yoakley and Associates, the power behind teknovation.biz; Morehous Legal Group, and Launch TN. The prize package includes a chance to win $1,000, office space in the UTRF Business Incubator, and professional services from several of the sponsors.
