Oak Ridge Housing Authority and Oak Ridge Community Development Corporation invite you to join us as we break ground on the Elks Community Enrichment Center in the Scarboro Community.

The Elks Community Enrichment Center will be a 5,000 square foot gathering place on the Atomic Elks Lodge site: a community room, a small-business and maker space, health and wellness in partnership with the The Free Medical Clinic of Oak Ridge, and rooms for training and learning.

The center will also hold permanent displays honoring Scarboro’s story, including the Scarboro 85, whose courage in 1955 helped integrate Oak Ridge Schools. We build here as neighbors and guests, with gratitude for the community that has always called Scarboro home.
