Eric Abelquist retiring from ORAU after 27 years with organization
Eric Abelquist, Executive Vice President and Chief Research Officer for ORAU, announced at the Friday morning meeting of the East Tennessee Economic Council (ETEC) that he was retiring after 27 years with the organization.
He’s the current Chair of ETEC, and the announcement was received with hearty congratulations and warm wishes for whatever comes next. While Abelquist was not ready to say what it might be, he did say, “I’m not going far.”
