Entrepreneurs will be in Nashville in droves in late March

Innovation Week is back for a second year, complete with workshops, facility tours, discussions, and speakers focused on topics helpful to entrepreneurs. The event in Nashville will focus on innovation, advocacy, and connections across the Volunteer State.

Launch Tennessee has issued a “Save the Date” announcement and a preliminary agenda for its second annual “Innovation Week.”

Scheduled for March 27-31, mostly in Nashville, the five-day event is focused on innovation, advocacy and connections across the Volunteer State. The week, which showcases the state’s entrepreneurship successes, grew out of the organization’s annual effort to increase the visibility of start-ups and innovation in Tennessee.

The two big days are March 28 when entrepreneurs will visit with state legislators and attend a reception that night. March 29 will be devoted to the “Innovator Summit,” a series of workshops on topics of interest to entrepreneurs and those who support their efforts. March 30 includes tours of various facilities in Music City such as Vanderbilt University’s The Wond’ry, Cumberland Emerging Technologies’ Life Science Incubator, and Tennessee State University’s Food Science Research Lab.

The final day will be devoted to what is described in broadcast media as “local programming” – activities organized by Launch Tennessee’s network partners.
