Entrepreneurial storytelling focus of class at Wake Forest University
Successful entrepreneurs know how to tell a story, and a faculty member at Wake Forest University has created a class to capture that important skillset. She is Professor Rebecca Gill, Merlo Presidential Chair in Communication and Entrepreneurship.
Students in her “Narrative Approaches to Entrepreneurship” class have spent the past semester studying Winston-Salem’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. They met with leaders of local organizations that support start-ups, Wake Forest alumni who founded businesses, local entrepreneurs, and experts who could share how the city’s history impacts the role of entrepreneurship in the community.
