Entrepreneurial ecosystem collaboration key recovery factor for Hampton Roads region

The economy in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia has long relied on the defense, shipbuilding and tourism industries. The region lost 38,400 civilian jobs between 2007 and 2010 and did not recover until 2017.
