ECD has its first ever Assistant Commissioner for Rural Development
Rural economic development is very important to Governor Haslam. We’ve previously noted the work being done around his 10-year rural challenge and, more specifically, the agricultural innovation component. Last week, Randy Boyd, the new Commissioner of Economic and Community Development (ECD), announced another piece of the building blocks – the naming of an Assistant Commissioner for Rural Development, a first for ECD.
