Durham’s American Underground reports good progress for its members

Speaking of the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina, it is worth noting that the 189 member companies of the American Underground have raised more than $97 million and created 402 new jobs between October 2020 and September 2021. That’s according to a report the Durham-based organization shared with WRAL TechWire.

The report also noted that nearly half of member companies – 49 percent to be exact – are considered to be at the “scale” stage, while 11 percent are in the “ideation” stage and a similar number are in the “validation” stage.
