Another year, another entrepreneur in the Oak Ridge National Laboratory-managed “Innovation Crossroads” program has made the “Forbes 30 Under 30” cohort for 2020. This time, it is Don DeRosa, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Eonix Energy
The announcement was made earlier this week. The start-up develops liquid electrolytes that increase the performance of ultra capacitors which are energy storage devices similar to batteries but with the ability to charge and release power more quickly than batteries.
Last year, Anna Douglas, Co-Founder of SkyNano Technologies, and Megan O’Connor, Co-Founder on Nth Cycle, made the prestigious list. All three are listed in the energy category which makes perfect sense. Forbes said it evaluated more than 15,000 nominations across 20 industries to select 30 honorees in each sector for 2020.
