“DIG SOUTH Tech Summit” announces dates for 2022, opens application for pitch event

The “DIG SOUTH Tech Summit,” characterized as the South’s first and foremost event connecting leading global brands to the South’s most scalable start-ups, has announced a partnership with the College of Charleston to host the 10-year anniversary of the event May 11, 12 and 13 at the college’s TD Arena.

Ironically, that’s the place where “DIG SOUTH” first launched the event in 2013. For 2022, the Summit will feature sessions on topics including fintech, blockchain, crypto, digital marketing and adtech, console and mobile gaming, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality, Internet of Things, business development, venture capital and fundraising, healthtech, transportation, and storytelling.

“We’re honored to bring ‘DIG SOUTH Tech Summit’ back to the College of Charleston, hosting some of the nation’s top tech executives, founders, investors and ecosystem leaders on campus and directly connecting them to the College’s students, faculty and staff,” said Stanfield Gray, DIG SOUTH Chief Executive Officer and Founder.

A key activity during the event is the “DIG SOUTH Wild Pitch,” held on May 13. Billed as “The South’s Capitol of Capital,” Wild Pitch features early and growth stage companies. Start-ups can apply now for selection to “DIG SOUTH Wild Pitch” at digsouthtechsummit.com.
