Differences between innovation district and research park explained
Triad Inno recently published this article, written by someone at Innovation Quarter (iQ), that describes what the author sees as the difference between an innovation district and a research park.
As described on its website, iQ started life under a different name in 1998. It was called the Piedmont Triad Research Park. It later was renamed the Wake Forest Innovation Quarter before adopting its current brand. Today, it is a partnership between Wake Forest Baptist Health and Wexford Science and Technology.
What is iQ? The author suggests what was planned as a research park is now an innovation district.
