DARPA announces changes in its SBIR and STTR program
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, better known as DARPA, has announced plans to release its Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) opportunities on an out-of-cycle basis, separate from the three pre-determined announcements traditionally issued directly through the Department of Defense. The change is expected to reduce the overall time from opportunity announcement to contract award. Learn more about the change here.
