Comcast announces new AI-focused accelerator

The program, which will be held in Philadelphia, is the first of an unknown number of multiple theme-driven accelerator programs to be hosted by Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs throughout the year. “Each will be focused on emerging trends in connectivity, entertainment, and more,” Comcast wrote in this announcement.
Start-ups leveraging Generative artificial intelligence to build next-generation technologies, products, and services have until April 9 to apply. The inaugural cohort starts its six-week program on May 22, and those selected will participate in a combination of in-person and remote programming, including a one-on-one personalized curriculum tailored to the start-up’s stage along with mentorship from executives across Comcast NBCUniversal.
