CO.LAB hosting pitch event with Bay Area-based VU Venture Partners
Chattanooga’s CO.LAB is working with San Francisco-based VU Venture Partners to hold a pitch event from 4 to 7 p.m. October 23 during “Startup Week Chattanooga.”
“We are looking for five companies that are raising pre-seed to Series A,” according to Taylor Bozarth, a CO.LAB Fellow. He did an internship with VU Venture Partners and is coordinating the event.

The verticals that are the focus of the event are healthcare, proptech, energy, big data, and consumer tech companies. The capital access team at CO.LAB will evaluate the companies based on market size, competitive advantage, capital efficiency, and a clear go-to-market strategy.
“We are looking forward to providing access to Silicon Valley venture capital to companies in the Southeast,” Bozarth said.
The event will be held at CO.LAB that is located on the first floor of The Edney Innovation Center, 1100 Market Street.
