First class of 21 students graduates from YEA! program

YEAThe 21 members in the inaugural class of the Knoxville Chamber’s Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) received their diplomas in a ceremony last night. It marked the end of a 30-week program where the middle and high school students learned how to start and run their own businesses. We have previously written about the program in a series of articles including this one during the pitch night with investors. Graduating students in alphabetical order are: Frenando Blevins, Dareece Blue, Katherine Chen, Chase Countiss, Christian Crawford, Aaron Frazer, Josiah Gibson, Thomas Gore, Ethan Hoskins, Anna Huss, Cooper Jones, Ashton Mayo-Beavers, Alise Ndacayisaba, Paul Nodit, Mick Rash, Nathan Respess, Santiago Sanabria, Alex Seaver, Sierra Shuck-Sparer, Noah Smith, and Spencer Terry. Smith will represent the region at next month’s YEA! national semi-finals in Rochester, NY.
