Chattanooga’s INCubator welcomes Peptide Test
Peptide Test was founded in Chattanooga with the belief that high-quality peptides should be more accessible to the direct consumer.
The INCubator, Tennessee’s largest business development hub, has officially welcomed its newest innovator: Peptide Test. Located within the Hamilton County Business Development Center, the INCubator serves as the pulse of Chattanooga’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
By joining this three-year program, Peptide Test gains access to space for commercialization testing, mentorship, and collaborations with the Chattanooga Chamber and the Tennessee Small Business Development Center.

“Chattanooga is full of smart, innovative people,” said Chad Stiles, founder of Peptide Test. “We’re excited to soak in the spirit of growth and service and be part of the community.”
Peptide Test’s arrival is a testament to the region’s expanding biotech footprint and reinforces the INCubator’s mission of being a launchpad for innovative companies.
Filling a Gap in the Marketplace

Peptide Test was founded on the belief that high-quality peptides should be more accessible to the direct consumer. Historic efforts to analyze peptides, the small proteins used in many new medicines and health supplements, have been cumbersome and expensive, often requiring samples to be sent to major specialty labs by doctors only.
Stiles knew he had to find a solution after his personal experience finding unlabeled, internationally sourced peptide products.
Timely Importance: The GLP-1 Surge
This diagnostic technology is especially relevant today as GLP-1 peptides, the active ingredients in Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro, are in high demand. In fact, the National Center for Biotechnology Information has seen a 700 percent increase in GLP-1 prescriptions. But with limited supply due to pharmacy shortages and high costs, consumers have sought out other, sometimes risky ways to get their hands on the drugs. This raises concerns for:
Purity. Many people are sourcing GLP-1s from unregulated compounding pharmacies to save money. Without proper testing, it is unknown exactly what is in the bottle. This is a critical matter of safety. For example, a vial could contain 99 percent pure medicine, or it could contain only 20 percent and be filled with other supplements.
Potency. Because of the purity problem, one vial could be full-strength and effective while the next dose could be majorly lacking. This “back-and-forth” can wreak havoc on a person’s health. Consistent dosing is a must for effectiveness.
Accessibility Without Sacrificing Quality
Though Peptide Test is up and coming, they are committed to quality. Their tests are performed by scientists who are experts in commercial quality control testing of FDA-regulated pharmaceuticals. Their validations are also based on the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and the National Formulary (NF), which are some of the most respected and strict drug standards worldwide.
