Chattanooga Whiskey, FreightWaves tie for “Spirit of Innovation Aard”
Two companies have tied for the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce’s “2019 Spirit of Innovation Award.” It’s only the second time in the 20-year history of the award.
Chattanooga Whiskey and FreightWaves were named as this year’s recipients at an event on Wednesday.
“These two companies are very different and represent two very different industries,” said Dan Gilmore, “Spirit of Innovation Award” Committee Chair. “They both exemplify the true spirit of innovation this award recognizes and celebrates. Chattanooga and the surrounding area are home to a diverse range of driven and innovative people and organizations. It’s no surprise that our six outstanding finalists include logistics, medical and workplace technology, outdoor activities and distilling.”
