The annual event from the Nashville Entrepreneur Center recognizes more than a dozen founders and businesses at every stage of the entrepreneurial lifecycle.

Balendra Sutharshan, who joined ORNL a little more than two years ago, succeeds the retiring Alan Icenhour on April 1.

Selected start-ups will receive collaboration, mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities with the health system’s internal stakeholders and external partners.  

Several other opportunities for established or would be entrepreneurs are available including free co-working space in the Upper Cumberland area and the annual "iBUCS Student Venture Pitch Competition" at ETSU.

The annual event will run from April 30 through May 6 with virtual educational activities and the naming of each state's "Small Business Person of the Year."
