Black tie hacker party and demo day set for December 17 in Knoxville

CodeWorks Demo Day

Are you ready to have some fun?

In six days, Knoxvillians and those from other communities that want to attend are going to have an opportunity to participate in a very unique event that combines the holiday spirit, a good deal of levity, and a graduation party.

It’s called the “First Annual Black Tie Hacker Holiday Party and CodeWorks Demo Day.” The event is set for 6 to 8 p.m. December 17 at the Southern Railway Station, 306 West Depot Avenue. The invitation/announcement says that “entrepreneurs, coders, investors, and others are invited to get dressed-up, eat, drink and be merry while hearing the story of Knoxville’s six newest start-up companies graduating from the first ever CodeWorks program.”

Sponsors of the event are the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center, CodeStock, Angel Capital Group,  KnoxDevs, Launch Tennessee, and The B-Sides Conference.

For more information including a link to the registration page, read the invitation (CodeWorks Demo Day).

Also,  be sure and learn more about the start-ups in “CodeWorks” in a five-part teknovation.biz series that begins today.
