BizStarts learns to pivot after a decade just like entrepreneurs do
Entrepreneurs are advised to be nimble and willing to pivot, and here’s a story about a decade-old entrepreneurial support organization that had to do the same thing.
BizStarts is based in Milwaukee, WI and was founded when there was a void in entrepreneurship programs at Wisconsin universities. It was also before programs like gener8tor, TitletownTech, and VentureHome came into existence.
Today, with university-based entrepreneurship education, start-up accelerators and business incubators increasingly common, BizStarts is evolving and changing its focus to entrepreneurship as a means for self-employment in underserved areas, and this evolution led to the formation of the BizStarts Institute.
