“Big box” store being converted to space for life science companies
Need lab and office space for life science start-ups? What about a former large retail space.
That’s the plan in the Raleigh, NC area where developers are seeking to meet growing demand by turning a former 180,017 square foot “big box” retail site into lab space. Plans call for “creating a modern, highly amenitized laboratory and production environment for life science users,” JLL, the leasing agent, said in a statement.
