New Balance launching new platform of shoes utilizing 3D printing
We first heard about 3D-printed shoes from Feetz, the former Chattanooga-based start-up that relocated to California and appears to have gone out of business (or at least its website is inactive). Now, one of the industry giants – New Balance – has announced that it is launching a new platform that will utilize 3D printing technology called TripleCell. One product has already hit the market and a second is coming in mid-September.
