“Asheville Entrepreneurship Week” concludes this weekend
Asheville is always a nice city to visit, and this weekend could be a special one if you are an entrepreneur. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the final days of the annual “Asheville Entrepreneurship Week.”
- On Friday night, the Asheville Investment Club is hosting a live pitch competition featuring presentations from four finalists who are seeking funding for their start-ups. Reports say that $500,000 in cash is on the table.
- Saturday’s highlight might be the grand opening of the new podcast and video recording studio for Asheville Play that features networking, local beer and a tour of the studio.
- On Sunday, TEDxAsheville features speakers around the theme of “Challenging Assumptions Breaking New Ground.”
