ARC helps fund food business innovation center in Asheville area
The Appalachian Regional Commission has awarded $1.25 million to develop a value-added food business innovation center at the WNC Farmers Market on Brevard Road in Asheville. The funding will be used to build a 5,000 square foot commercial kitchen complex at the WNC Farmers Market to be used as a training and business incubation center for aspiring food entrepreneurs.
